REB MOTELE KOZMIRER ZT”L

In the center of the town of Kielce,  located 180 kilometers south of the Polish capital city Warsaw, there is a small, unassuming structure that draws thousands of visitors throughout the year, and serves for them as a source of warmth and inspiration. This is the resting place of the saintly esteemed tzaddik, Reb Motele Kozmirer zt”l, who was known as a great miracle worker in his lifetime.

Throughout his life, the tzaddik Reb Motele had an open heart for every single Jew, regardless of his affiliation or spiritual standard. His home was open wide for every wanderer, every person in need of help or a listening ear, every merchant in need of advice, and every individual going through a difficult time. With a warm smile and encouraging words, he graciously welcomed friends and total strangers alike. He shared his wisdom and gave his blessings, bringing about supernatural yeshuos to people in need.

The Rebbe’s love for every fellow Jew was legendary. Unfortunately, he did not merit having any children of his own. However, every Jew that visited his home was like a precious child to him. He would devote himself to the needs of these people more than a father would to his own children. Although he had thousands of followers, every one of them felt like the Rebbe’s only beloved son.

After his passing, the doors of his home did not close to the public; the address just changed. His resting place in Kielce became a place to where thousands would travel to pray for salvation. Whoever visits the tzaddik’s grave feels that his prayers are answered. Although the saintly man is no longer alive, his presence is still with all who visit his resting place as he intercedes on their behalf in Heaven, bringing about the Divine help they seek.

The holy gravesite in Kielce has become a focal point for Jews from all over the world. Whenever a group of Jews travel through Poland, they make sure to stop by this landmark. Many people travel to Poland specifically to visit Kielce, light a candle and pray at the tzaddik’s resting place.

The gravesite is located on 41 Pakosz Street; on the edge of the Jewish cemetery [entrance to the gravesite is directly from Pakosz

St. not thru the cemetery]. The gatekeeper, Mr. Marian Glinski is available to accommodate all visitors to the holy site. His phone number is +48-41-362-2224
